Carrie Southgate DPT
Carrie received Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She attended Washington and Lee University and has a B.S. in Psychology with emphasis on child development. She is Spanish speaking.
Carrie’s many strengths include specialized training in using the Universal Exercise Unit and TheraSuit™. Twelve ? years ago, she developed a Swim-with-the-Dolphins program in Miami, Florida. Her exposure to children with special needs and their families sparked her interest and brought her to Pediatric PT.

Janice Darlington PT
Born in Massachusetts, Janice graduated from the University of Vermont in 1981 with a BS in Physical Therapy. She moved to the Bay area in the fall of 1981 and lives in Marin County with her husband and her son. Janice’s work experience is varied and diverse, including many years in an acute care setting at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as years in an acute rehabilitation setting at the Kentfield Rehabilitation Hospital, in the home care setting with UCSF/ Stanford and Private Practice and in a school/clinic setting at California Children’s Services, San Francisco.
Throughout her career, Janice has continued her clinical growth and development by participating in continuing education course work with physical therapists and other health care professionals. Janice is CPR-certified and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

She is able to address problems with a laser focus, really getting to the core of the issue, while at the same time respecting the needs and the concerns of both the child and the family. With over 30 years of experience in the physical therapy profession, the majority of those years working specifically in pediatrics, Janice brings her knowledge and grace to every case.”
Lissa Resnick DPT
Lissa received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2000 from the University of Southern California and holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from UC Davis. She has been with the practice for five years and is an integral part of the treatment team.
Lissa has been a lifelong dancer who has performed with both the Marin and San Francisco Ballet companies. She has recently reconnected with her passion for dance and is a member of the No Strings Attached Dance Company. As a dance performer and children’s dance instructor, Lissa strives to integrate her love of arts and movement to her pediatric clinical practice.
