Christine Egan Physical Therapy
Testimonials:
Here what Parents and Doctors are saying about Christine:
A Testimonial from Erica Kelly, Parent
“Our sons Jack and Ben have been seeing Christine Egan as their Physical Therapist since they were 3 and 5 – and they are 18 and 20 now! Both boys were born with special needs – they had club feet, low muscle tone and significant physical and mental developmental delays. We moved here from the UK and were so fortunate to be referred to Christine our first month here.
Our boys did not receive their diagnosis of Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy until they were 5 and 8. I am incredibly thankful Christine initiated comprehensive PT with them as soon as we met. I do not think our boys would be walking – even less playing tons of sports – without all of Christine’s early intervention and continued support.
The boys saw Christine twice a week for years, then once a week and much more recently just once a month. In office Christine has worked with them on a wide variety of gross and fine motor skills, balancing and strengthening exercises using a reformer, mats and steps. Thank goodness she had endless balls and toys – and a terrific sense of humor – and could keep them more than entertained throughout their early sessions! They have ALWAYS loved going to see her – we all have. She has molded all of the boys orthotics for us, and she has worked with our prosthetist on developing ankle-foot-orthotics. Each week she would develop a great PT routine for us to do at home with exercises, games and TES machines to stimulate muscles overnight. She also helped us conquer the challenge of keeping the boys calves and achilles stretched out by suggesting slant boards to stand on (and play video games) and night time stretching splints to keep them flexible.
I absolutely cannot recommend Christine highly enough. She is a gifted physical therapist with clicks beautifully with kids of all ages; she is incredibly hard-working and focused and wholly dedicated to helping all of her kids reach their full physical potential. She has also been a tremendous support to my husband and me as we navigate the challenges of our boys disease. She is one of the biggest silver linings of our children’s difficult prognosis. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions – I could talk about Christine for hours!”

“Christine integrates several disciplines at once…TES, orthotics, taping, manual therapy, etc. with focused attack on whatever the issue. I’ve been around the pediatric physical therapy circuit of San Francisco and Marin and hands down C.E’s outstanding dedication, skill, thoughtfulness and varied knowledge set her apart from the rest.”

From a Parent, Bodyworker & Therapist
“This form of reinforcement and measurement (Biofeedback) was very impactful on our son. “I have always felt Christine and Alex have had a very good rapport. He likes to impress her with how successful (her) services have been. I appreciate her visionary approach to dealing with his challenges.” She “pushes the envelope” and always seems to move a little beyond what normal procedure requires. I like that.”
From a Parent & Teacher
“When we started coming to see Christine, I believe Jessie was 18 months old. She couldn’t walk because she has low muscle tone. By 20 months, she was up and going. Jessie still has obstacles and battles to face with he gross motor skills but Christine helps her find ways to try to overcome them. Now Jessie’s four. She runs and hops and climbs. Christine has been the backbone and main support to helping us get there.”
“Christine is at the hub of our therapeutic wheel. She is an anchor. She is an excellent for my kids physical therapy”
